I discovered early on after lodging my claim for Fire damage that I wasn't receiving the service I expected from my insurance claim. My house was severely damaged following an electrical fire and the loss adjuster who came out was questioning me as if I was at fault and in some way responsible for the damage!My beautician recommended Dean from Oakleafe and after making contact he attended the same day and in a very short space of time he made me feel reassured.Dean was outstanding in his approach, extremely knowledgeable and charming.I was present at the meeting with both the forensic scientist and Loss adjuster and Dean tool command of the process and answered all their leading questions with confidence. In January, I instructed Oakleafe , four months have passed and the insurance company says that they still didn't get my documents which I already sent in to Oakleafe a few months ago ,they also said that they closed the claim because there is no reply !I only found this out by chance today. Mrs Sophie Holmes never answers calls or emails or checks on the claim to see if there is any update.

I was flooded last July causing significant damage to the ground floor of my home. The insurance company were fine to deal with but their loss adjusters were a nightmare. I felt intimidated and was treated appallingly. I contacted Oakleafe and James Christie was allocated my case. James was from the start, friendly, sympathetic and professional, he took the time to explain the process to me, making sure that I was fully informed at all stages of the claim, nothing was too much trouble. Without James' help, I would not have been able to achieve a fair settlement. The Contractors appointed by Oakleafe, NCN, were also outstanding, the Director of the company made a personal commitment to ensure that I had my home back in a livable condition by Christmas and made sure it happened, despite the apathy and incompetence of the Loss Adjusters. The support I received from both Oakleafe and NCN was superb. I can't thank James and Steven enough for all their hard work and support throughout what was an incredibly stressful time.
Jonathan Reuter took on my flood case after 6 months of disaster. He completely turned the case around and was courteous, patient and kind throughout. Quite simply, he was amazing! Everything turned out much better than I expected. Been based Gidea park for just 3 months. They got flooded out this eve themselves but have provided de humidifiers and assistance to others in local area. Good people helping others In Their own time of crisis.
I cannot rate this company higher. I can safely say we would have been at a loss without their help. I can only hope that other people and companies that are facing difficulties with their insurance providers are aware of the help that is available. I would single out Ray Truman, who worked as our Senior Claims Technician. I can say without any doubt we would not have been left with a penny from a robbery on our venue. An inside knowledge of the system is a truly eye opening experience. We were close to resigning from the situation and attempting to work out a action plan to save the business. Having said that, Ray took the reigns, reviewed all the information and then proceeded to run rings around the arbitrators hired by the Insurance company. In these tough times when all small businesses are struggling and companies have are fighting to even claim on their due business interruption clause, it still brings a smile to my face when I remember how the arbitrator's face dropped and his smile faded as I mentioned that we had hired Ray.
